Philip Stone

Philip Stone was an actor who made a successful career for himself in film. Stone's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the dramatic adaptation "Two Gentlemen Sharing" (1969) with Robin Phillips, "The Man Who Had Power Over Women" (1970) and the comedy "Carry on Loving" (1970) with Sidney James. He also appeared in the David Hemmings mystery thriller "Fragment of Fear" (1971), the dramatic fantasy "A Clockwork Orange" (1971) with Malcolm McDowell and "Hitler: The Last Ten Days" (1973). He continued to act in productions like "The Medusa Touch" (1978), the Jack Nicholson horror feature "The Shining" (1980) and "Flash Gordon" (1980) with Sam J. Jones. During the latter half of his career, he continued to act in the Jonathan Lacey dramatic period piece "The Baby of Macon" (1993). He also had a part in the TV miniseries "Harem" (1985-86). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Charters & Caldicott" (PBS, 1985-86). Stone most recently worked on the Christopher Meloni dramatic comedy "Small Time" (2014).
