Cutter's research leads to a prediction about where the next anomaly will appear. But when Jenny, Connor and Abby check out the location, all they find is an abandoned house. They wait to see if an anomaly will appear, but get more than they bargained for when they discover a camouflage beast from the future is living in the house. They also have to deal with a cop, Danny Quinn, who takes an instant dislike to them. The team faces one of their hardest missions yet - how do you catch a creature you cannot even see?
