Queenie Vassar

Queenie Vassar made her mark in the world of entertainment when she acted in the adaptation "The Primrose Path" (1940) with Ginger Rogers. In 1899, she appeared on Broadway in "Sister Mary." In 1940, she made her first film appearance in "Primrose Path." In 1912, she appeared in "The Lady of the Slipper; Or, A Modern Cinderella" at the Globe Theatre in New York, which ran for 232 performances. Vassar's husband was Joseph Cawthorn.
