Trouble, My Lovely: Roarke and Tattoo greet Fred Stoughton and his whining, nagging family. Fred's fantasy is to experience peace and respect for once. After a disastrous picnic, Fred is ready to leave, but walking by the pool, he hears an old lady screaming and jumps in to rescue her. Too late, he remembers he can't swim and several people drag them both out of the water. Fred feels like an idiot, but his wife, son and mother-in-law are very proud of him and realise how much they love him.The Common Man: Stanley Schecter arrives on Fantasy Island wanting to become a Private Investigator. At the club bar, Stanley meets Iris Chandler and helps her with a dispute with the bar's owner. Iris then hires Stanley to investigate her daughter Peggy's gambling debts.Stanley discovers the body of the club owner when he breaks into his office and is arrested for murder. However, he escapes from the police and finds out that Peggy doesn't have any gambling debts and it's all a set up by Iris.
