When the father of one of the dead girls explains that he paid Dennis Lee (guest star Kelvin Han Yee) to have her brought to America, this hits home with Olinsky (Elias Koteas). Lee is one of the Chicago's most wanted fugitives and escaped Olinsky once before. Intelligence isn't about to let Lee dupe them again and Olinsky's past files prove valuable in finding Lee's whereabouts. Meanwhile, Sean Roman (Brian Geraghty) has an altercation with a fellow officer which lands him in a bit of trouble. At the same time Platt (Amy Morton) helps prepare Nadia (guest star Stella Maeve) to take her polygraph test after passing the CPD written exam.

Lt. Casey (Jesse Spencer), who is at the center of an undercover operation to bring down a trafficking ring run out of Nesbitt's (guest star Eric Mabius) strip club, finds himself in very dangerous territory. Meanwhile, as a result of the high turnover rate on squad, Severide (Taylor Kinney) gets a rude awakening when Capt. Dallas Patterson (guest star Brian White) is brought in, much to Boden's (Eamonn Walker) dismay. Dawson (Monica Raymund) confirms her suspicions that her life is about to change forever and Jimmy Borrelli (guest star Steven R. McQueen), the new candidate, makes an unusual first impression. Elsewhere, citizens of Chicago band together to take charge of their neighborhood in protest of a drug den in their area, resulting in ramifications that severely hinder members of Firehouse 51, who are called to the scene to battle a blazing fire.

When a vengeful lawyer hires a paranoid bombmaker to kill off members of a local gang, Michael is forced to intervene before innocent lives are lost in the mayhem.

Ft. Marshall is buzzing with anticipation of the upcoming USO concert featuring Wynona Judd and Five for Fighting. Pamela throws herself into helping Claudia Joy organize the concert in order to avoid thinking about Chase's upcoming return. Meanwhile, in Iraq Joan struggles to keep morale up amongst her troops. The tribe comes together to support and encourage fellow Army Wife Marisol (guest-star Gina Rodriquez) to be honest about her husband's abusive actions and encourage her to seek help.

In this episode we get to meet a whole group of other survivors, but what looks safe and nice on the outside has a bit of a dark side.
