Rita Lee

Rita Lee Jones de Carvalho, known professionally as Rita Lee, was a Brazilian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, writer, television presenter and activist. Widely regarded as the most influential female figure in Brazilian rock and one of the country's greatest musical innovators, she sold over 55 million records, making her the best-selling Brazilian female artist of all time and the fourth overall. Lee's career was marked by continual reinvention and a fearless blending of genres.
