When Reynolds heads to D.C. to discuss developments in the Nevins case, Abbie is left in command. Jenny and Joe deal with unexpected consequences as a result of stealing the shard, which leaves both the lives of the heroes and Abbie’s career in great peril. Meanwhile, a new, more dangerous evil force is revealed.

As a lethal powers-enhancing drug is unleashed on the public, Detectives Walker (Sharlto Copley) and Pilgrim (Susan Heyward) seek out the criminal mastermind behind it with the help of iconic Power, Retro Girl (Michelle Forbes). As clues come to light, Walker considers the possibility that Wolfe (Eddie Izzard), his dangerous former mentor turned nemesis, might have the answers he seeks.

The manipulative power games between Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) and Alexis (guest star Nicollette Sheridan) continue when Alexis — who’s grown highly suspect of Fallon’s new husband, Liam (guest star Adam Huber) — meddles in Fallon’s love life.  Meanwhile, Blake (Grant Show) and Cristal (Nathalie Kelley) spar over whether CA will take responsibility for the health crisis that is hurting Culhane’s (Robert C. Riley) family. James Mackay, Rafael de la Fuente, Sam Adegoke and Alan Dale also star.
