Robert Horry

Robert Keith Horry (ORR-ee) is an American former professional basketball player and current sports commentator. Horry was a member of seven championship winning teams and is considered, by some, to be one of the most clutch shooters in NBA history. He was given the nicknames "Big Shot Rob" for making big shots in multiple playoff games and "Cheap Shot Rob" for dirty play throughout his career.

FOX’s ultimate celebrity social experiment, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, returns for a second season, enlisting a new troop of fourteen household names to endure some of the harshest, most grueling challenges from the playbook of the actual Special Forces selection process. This time around, the recruits will be faced with the harsh reality of winter warfare training on the mountains of New Zealand where the terrain and freezing temperatures are brutal and the tasks will feel like torture. There are no votes, and no eliminations – just survival. These celebrities, who are so used to being in the spotlight, will quickly learn the meaning of “no guts, no glory” – and no glam. The only way for these recruits to leave is to give up on their own accord, through failure or potential injury, or by force from the DS. Who will survive, who will fail?

Exposure

The remaining recruits are tasked with submerging themselves in icy water, learning to maintain composure in life-threatening conditions. Then, the recruits simulate infiltrating enemy infrastructure by racing each other down 330-foot dam.

Panic

The celebrity recruits learn how difficult the world of Special Forces is when they're put to the test of safely protecting a convoy under a surprise attack. The ambush challenges their ability to make decisions in extreme conditions and tests who is strong enough to remain.

Character

Halfway through the course, the remaining recruits are challenged with pushing themselves out of their comfort zones and past their limits in an effort to prove that they can thrive in any situation. As a test of their character, they are tasked with a 2-mile race, navigating treacherous terrain, while carrying a 220-pound boat.

Pressure

The remaining recruits are taken to the top of a mountain range to face the most demanding exercise of selection so far: using a single rope to commando cliff crawl across a deadly ravine. The Directing Staff turn up the pressure as the challenges of selection start to wear down the group.

Grit

With the final stage of selection nearing, the Directing Staff push the recruits to their breaking point - physically, mentally and emotionally - to prove whether or not they truly want to pass. The recruits are taken to a remote mountain range where they are tasked with pulling sleds through two miles of dangerous terrain, then later escaping invasion from enemy hunters, before they take on their last 24 hours of selection.
