Robert Strange

Robert Strange was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Strange started his acting career landing roles in such films as "The Smiling Lieutenant" (1931), "These Thirty Years" (1934) and "Special Agent" (1935). He also appeared in "Frisco Kid" (1935), "I Found Stella Parish" (1935) and "Stolen Holiday" (1936) with Kay Francis. He continued to act in productions like "Sky Giant" (1938), "They Made Me a Criminal" (1939) and the biopic "The Story of Vernon and Irene Castle" (1939) with Fred Astaire. He also appeared in the George Sanders mystery "The Saint Strikes Back" (1939). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the action picture "High Sierra" (1941) with Humphrey Bogart, "Paper Bullets" (1941) and the Kay Aldridge adventure "Perils of Nyoka" (1942). He also appeared in the horror movie "The Mad Monster" (1942) with Johnny Downs and "Dead Men Walk" (1943). Strange was most recently credited in "Storm Force: Thunderstorms" (TLC, 2000-01). Strange passed away in February 1952 at the age of 71.
