Robin Askwith

Robin Askwith was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Askwith's earliest roles were in film, including "If. ." (1968), the Tom Courtenay comedic adaptation "Otley" (1969) and the Bryant Haliday horror movie "Horror On Snape Island" (1972). He also appeared in "Confessions of a Window Cleaner" (1974). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "Confessions of a Pop Performer" (1975), "Confessions From a Holiday Camp" (1977) and "Stand Up Virgin Soldiers" (1977). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Let's Get Laid!" (1978), "Britannia Hospital" (1983) with Leonard Rossiter and "The Asylum" (2000). Askwith most recently acted in the action flick "U-571" (2000) with Matthew McConaughey.
