When Samantha wonders whether the Stephens ' baby will look like his father, Endora turns Darrin into an eight-year-old. Returned to normal, Darrin goes to his office. Samantha repeats a disparaging remark Darrin made about Endora. Piqued, Endora turns Darrin into a boy at his office. Mr. Harding sees Darrin and compli-ments Larry on hiring a child to devise a campaign for a toy.

Marcia is infatuated with a boy named Harvey Klinger and her family offers input to help her win his affection.

Ward agrees to put up half the cost of the twenty-five-dollar canoe Beaver wants if he will earn the other half. Beaver earns the rest of the money by collecting frogs and selling them to a man who needs them. However, Beaver changes his mind when he finds out that the man kills the frogs and uses them in scientific experiments.

Eddie shocks Herman, as well as the rest of the family, when he asks his father for a baby brother to alleviate the loneliness he feels as an only child.
