Sarah Chang

Sarah Chang is widely regarded as one of the world's most accomplished violinists. Raised by a father who worked as a violinist and music educator, she naturally gravitated toward the instrument, displaying exceptional musical talent from an early age. By the time she was nine, she had already performed as a soloist with both the New York Philharmonic and the Philadelphia Orchestra. Throughout her distinguished career, Chang has earned numerous accolades, including Gramophone Magazine's Young Artist of the Year award in 1993 and Newcomer of the Year at the International Classical Music Awards in 1994. Her performances have been highlighted in several television specials, such as Sarah Chang: The Young Virtuoso (PBS, 1993), "New York Philharmonic With Kurt Masur and Sarah Chang" (PBS, 1998), and "Isaac Stern: Life's Virtuoso" (PBS, 2000).
