Season Hubley

Season Hubley became a familiar name after her appearance in the widely viewed 1979 TV movie dramatization "Elvis," in which she played Priscilla Presley. Hip-thrusting and singing in the title role was Kurt Russell, who was romantically involved with his costar and married her the same year as the movie's broadcast. The Russells settled down together and had a child (son Boston), but this barely slowed down the career momentum of either spouse. In Hubley's case, that momentum had been accelerated for quite some time. As a young actress, her first movie job was a title role, in 1973's "Lolly-Madonna XXX," playing a pretty woman around whom brews a Hatfield-McCoy style country feud. From there, she worked steadily in both movies and TV, guest-starring on the New York City police procedural series "Kojak" (1977) and playing a porn actress/hooker in the 1979 lost-daughter drama "Hardcore," starring George C. Scott. As the 1980s rolled on, Hubley got a divorce from Russell (in 1983) and eventually retreated somewhat from the entertainment world. She put in multiple appearances in the daytime soap opera "All My Children" in 1992, for example, and guest-starred once on the original "Beverly Hills, 90210" (1998).
