The team investigates a serial killer who is targeting women at a small college in Flagstaff, Arizona. The BAU shuts down the campus, creates a detailed profile of the unsub, and arrests a suspect. However, the team members begin to have doubts about themselves when another woman is killed while the suspect is in custody.

Doug stops by Carrie's office, and is introduced to her work-husband Curt. Although Carrie assures him that he has nothing to worry about since Curt is gay, Doug is threatened by just how close the two are. Meanwhile, Arthur is jealous of a new dog that Holly has added to her route.

While buying some treats at the park from the ice cream man, Doug notices the "for sale" sign in his window. Figuring that this investment would be as profitable as anything else, Doug seizes the opportunity and buys the truck on the spot.

Nancy faces pressure from Peter to get out of the business. After heckling Celia at her first city council meeting, Doug calls a truce. Silas and Shane celebrate their dad's birthday.

Nancy gathers Silas, Shane, Andy, and Lupita to brainstorm ways to come up with the money to pay off her debt to U-Turn. Celia meets with her divorce lawyer Arlene Cutter, who recommends she start spending more quality time with daughter and cash cow Isabelle if she wants custody.
