It's a busy day for the homicide unit and Community General when three murders take place. Further investigation reveals that none of the suspects knew their victims, and they are all terminal patients at Community General. Dr. Sloan and Steve hastily review the suspects patient records to determine a common link. They discover that their insurance claims are not being processed by billing like the other patients, they have been routed to the same person in administration - Emest Rogan, Rogan is the new computer guy that just installed a high-tech computer system in Community General. With unlimited access to patients confidential information, Rogan has been luring terminal patients to carry out his "murderers for hire" scheme in exchange for a generous sum of money. Now Dr. Sloan and Steve know the why, but they need to know the names of the people who actually paid for the murders.
