Stephanie Corneliussen

Stephanie Corneliussen was an internationally recognized model and actress who became known to American audiences in 2016 with her role on the cyber thriller series "Mr. Robot" (USA Network, 2015-). Born and raised in Copenhagen, Corneliussen never intended on becoming an actress. In fact, her first love was ballet. She was an accomplished ballet dancer all throughout her pre-teen years, but at the age of 13, her striking good looks had started earning her attention outside of dancing. Corneliussen was discovered by a talent scout at 13 and was encouraged to enter a modeling completion called Supermodel of Scandinavia. Despite having never modeled before, Corneliussen won the contest handily, and thus, began her career as an international model. Her jet-setting life was a whirlwind over the next several years, and included numerous appearances in print ads and TV commercials, as well as her face donning the covers of countless magazines, from Vanity Fair to Vogue. Despite the daily grind of being an internationally famous model, however, Corneliussen still found time to earn a degree in graphic design from a university in London. By the time she reached her late 20s, however, Corneliussen started gravitating towards acting. She moved to Hollywood in 2011 and soon began auditioning for film and TV roles. She nabbed an uncredited role in 2013's action fantasy film "Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters," and soon after started landing guest spots on shows like "Royal Pains" (USA, 2009-2016) and "Legends of Tomorrow" (The CW, 2016-). Then in 2016 Corneliussen got her first big acting break with a recurring role on USA's "Mr. Robot." As Joanna Wellick, Corneliussen appeared in season two of the popular cyber thriller.
