Tony Yayo

American rapper Tony Yayo was born in Queens, New York City, to Haitian immigrant parents. Best known as a member of the hip-hop group G-Unit along with friends 50 Cent and Lloyd Banks, they released some underground mixtapes during the 2000s. Their debut album, "Beg for Mercy" (2003) came out while Yayo was finishing a prison sentence, but he was still featured on its songs. He appeared in numerous mixtapes during that time, leading up to his first solo album, "Thoughts of a Predicate Felon" (2005), which reached number two on the Billboard 200. G-Unit's sophomore album, "T.O.S. Terminate on Sight!" (2008) was a success and Yayo's performance was particularly praised. He released a couple of singles during the 2010s, and went on to announce that a new solo album was in production.
