In the shocking summer finale, an intriguing riddle from "A" has the Liars hitting the road and heading to Ravenswood, where they are surrounded by some familiar faces. During a very special magic show, one Liar pulls a disappearing act, leaving the other three scrambling to make sure she hasn't succumbed to the tricks of "A." But before they can hightail it out of Ravenswood, they make a shocking discovery that proves everything they thought they knew about "A" and the "A" team might be wrong. With this discovery, the Liars may just have started "World War A." Meanwhile, a joyous reunion between Hanna and her mother is cut short when "A" sets sights on a new target. And Toby (recurring guest star Keegan Allen) uncovers some surprising information about Wren (recurring guest star Julian Morris).

Season Seven premiere. The director of Vince's latest action film talks his star into doing his own driving stunt, agitating both Eric and Ari. Turtle's attraction to an underperforming employee named Alex threatens to damage his fledgling car-service business. Ari looks to add to his resume as 'the biggest agent in the world' by eying an alliance with the NFL. Worried that his holding deal is about to expire, Drama pressures Lloyd, now a TMA agent, to land him a project.

Cooper hires an "entertainer" named Ginger to jump start Sam's new life as a single person, causing Naomi and Addison to get jealous.

Officers John Cooper and Ben Sherman start out the day thinking they have nothing in common, but – after responding to an eclectic array of patrol calls – at the end of their watch, they discover this is not true. When Ben reveals details of his past to the department therapist and to Cooper, the motivation behind his decision to be a cop becomes clear. Elsewhere, Dewey becomes star struck by Timmy Davis (guest star Tom Sizemore) a famous, self-obsessed actor. In true "Dewey" style, he mischievously decides to party with the celebrity, rather then book him – leading to a rift in his partnership with Chickie Brown. Trouble ensues when Dewey loses track of the burnt-out actor, and Chickie finds herself questioning her decision to take him on as her partner.

Holly rushes to tell Vince that she saw Henry with another girl--meaning that Holly and Vince can date without feeling guilty--but her excitement turns to anger when she catches Vince in a compromising position. Meanwhile, Gary gets a job at a trendy clothing store, and sales skyrocket when the female customers see him scantily dressed. And Lauren encourages Val to have dinner with a former boyfriend from high school who is moving to New York with his fiancée.
