Vijaykanth

Vijayaraj Alagarswami, better known by his stage name Vijayakanth, was an Indian actor and politician who worked in Tamil cinema. He acted in over 150 films in his career spanning four decades. He was well known for his performances in Vaidehi Kathirunthal, Amman Kovil Kizhakale, Poonthotta Kaavalkaaran, Senthoora Poove, Pulan Visaranai, Chinna Gounder, Honest Raj, Thayagam and Vaanathaippola. He won two Filmfare Awards South and three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards.
