Wilfred Lucas

Wilfred Lucas was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Lucas's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as "The Microscope Mystery" (1916), "Through the Back Door" (1921) and "Heroes of the Street" (1922). He also appeared in "Flesh and Blood" (1922), "Can a Woman Love Twice?" (1923) and "The Fighting Sap" (1924). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the Stan Laurel comedy "Pardon Us" (1931), the Marlene Dietrich drama "Dishonored" (1931) and "Convicted" (1931). He also appeared in "The Midnight Patrol" (1932). Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in the comedy "The Devil's Brother" (1933) with Stan Laurel, "Strange People" (1933) and "The Intruder" (1933). He also appeared in "Phantom Thunderbolt" (1933) and "The Moth" (1934). Lucas more recently acted in "Brother Orchid" (1940). Lucas was married to Bess Meredyth. Lucas passed away in December 1940 at the age of 69.
