William Shockley

William Shockley was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. Known for making audiences laugh, Shockley began his acting career in comedies like the Andrew Dice Clay film "The Adventures of Ford Fairlane" (1990) and the Ellen Barkin film "Switch" (1991). He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Quantum Leap" (NBC, 1988-1993). He also starred in the TV movies "True Betrayal" (ABC, 1989-1990) and "Kill or Be Killed" (NBC, 1989-1990). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties, appearing in "Dream Lover" (1994), the adaptation "Girl in the Cadillac" (1995) with Erika Eleniak and "Showgirls" (1995). In his more recent career, he continued to act in "Madison" (2005) with Jim Caviezel, "Welcome to Paradise" (2007) and "Treasure Raiders" (2008) with David Carradine. He also appeared in the Tom Berenger drama "Last Will" (2012). Shockley most recently acted in the Barry Corbin drama "Born Wild" (2014).
