Wilson Pickett boasts musical talents that have been featured in a variety of Hollywood productions. Pickett worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Action Jackson" with Carl Weathers (1988), the Robin Williams and Forest Whitaker blockbuster "Good Morning, Vietnam" (1987), "Into the Night" (1985) starring Jeff Goldblum, "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" (1978), "The Big Chill" with Tom Berenger (1983) and "The Hollywood Knights" (1980). In the eighties and the nineties, Pickett devoted his time to various credits, such as "American Boyfriends" (1989) starring Margaret Langrick, "Road House" (1989), "Mystery Date" (1991) starring Ethan Hawke and "Crisscross" with Goldie Hawn (1992). In the nineties through the early 2000s, Pickett lent his talents to projects like "Mother" (1996) starring Paul Collins, "My Fellow Americans" with Jack Lemmon (1996), "Blues Brothers 2000" (1998), "Only the Strong Survive" (2003) starring William Bell and "Talk to Me" (2007). Pickett also provided music for "Clubbed." Wilson Pickett passed away in January 2006 at the age of 65.
