Incident of the Roman Candles
Trail boss Gil Favor, his ramrod Rowdy Yates and scout Pete Nolan find a young boy armed with Roman candles, who has set out alone across the prairie. When they discover that the lad, Davey Colby, has lied about being orphaned by an Indian massacre, Gil assigns Pete Nolan to return Davey to his home, unaware of the boy's mission to save his father from three killers who are waiting to ambush him.
