Chuck offers to throw a wedding for a very pregnant Dorota who insists that she and Vanya have a traditional wedding before her parents arrive from Poland and find their daughter pregnant and without a husband. Dorota asks Blair and Chuck to be part of the ceremony and walk her down the aisle. Serena tells Nate she is having breakfast with the Humphreys when in reality she’s secretly meeting up with Carter Baizen. Rufus discovers that Lily has been lying to him about her whereabouts.

In her first days as a grad student, Hannah settles into her new life and discovers she can get more for her money, rent-wise, in Iowa. Later, during a video chat, Hannah slyly prods Marnie for intel about Adam. At her first seminar, Hannah warns her fellow workshop writers that her piece might trigger some intense emotions--but doesn't get the feedback she had hoped for.

With only one class a week, Hannah finds herself doing a lot of nothing, while a visiting Elijah has become the social butterfly of Iowa. Ray gives Marnie a wake-up call about Desi's true intentions. While Kitty tries to find a runaway teen, Sherlock and Joan work a case in which the murder of a brilliant bioengineer looks to be at the hands of a drug cartel. Also, Joan makes a major life decision but worries it will impact Sherlock negatively, not knowing that Sherlock has big news of his own.
