Noah, a screenwriter and hopeless romantic, tries to navigate the ups and downs of his love life while relying heavily on the support of his friends; Alex is an HIV/AIDS educator and the de-facto matriarch of the group; Ricky has a very liberal attitude towards sexuality, and the funky clothing store he owns gives him the opportunity to pursue his twin passions, fashion and men; and Chance, the most conservative and supposedly rational of the group, is a college professor trying to reconcile his expectations of a prim and proper life with reality. It's Sex & The City meets Soul Food - but gay, of course.
