Rintaro Okabe is a self-proclaimed "mad scientist" plagued by paranoid delusions of a nefarious organization known as SERN. Fueled by their imaginations, Okabe and his friends form a secret laboratory and seek to unlock the mysteries of time travel!

When mad scientist Okabe attends a lecture on time travel, he meets a mysterious woman and later finds her dead. He soon discovers that everything is not at all that it seems.

The not-so-dead Makise teaches Okabe during a lecture. Later, he learns a man who vanished 10 years ago has reemerged.

Okabe believe that he may have created a time machine. Meanwhile he learns that an advanced research group's experiments may have negative results.

Okabe learns that the only way to decrypt SERN's time travel experiments is to locate an antique computer, and the only way to locate the computer is to outsmart a maid.

Episode 5
After some late night modifications to the IBN-5100, Okabe and his team uncover the shocking truth behind SERN’s many attempts to master time travel.
EPISODE 6
Episode 6
The group learns more about how the messages to the past, called D-Mails, are sent. Okabe reluctantly adds a new member to their team.
