A Musical Journey on the Silk Route

In South India, just before the ride kick off, last trip preparations and the first song recording. Next stop: Nepal; in Pokhara, Sylvain & Mathieu record the second track of the album and they get the opportunity to take motorbike mechanics lessons with a very helpful team, so they get perfectly ready for their long motorcycle trip.

Welcome to Central Asia. The two riders can get finally back their bikes, shipped from New- Delhi. While paperworks for the next countries are getting signed and ready in Bishkek, Sylvain and Mathieu ride to the East side of the country. In the beautiful Kyrgyz steppe, they record the children of an orphanage and they meet an incredible family of musicians.

Long ride to West, from Krygyztan to the Caspian Sea: they board on an old 80's ferry; they ride under extrem conditions, from the snow to the Karakalpakstan desert. Their legendary bikes cause them a number of unexpected events in the middle of nowhere.

Sylvain and Mathieu finally find a motorbike mechanic in Georgia (apparently nonexistent for a few weeks!). Along with this strange character, they go through a long mission of repairing the cluch of Sylvain's bike. As soon as this is solved the next stop is Van, in Turkey. Here, a traditional Kurdish song is recorded just before another trip to Istanbul - not without a few surprises, of course!

Welcome to Europe ! The two modern french explorers integrate a refugees camp in Serbia. The intense experience leads them to put the idea of recording a song in this country on the side, and to keep their ride towards Slovakia. Once there, a group of young gipsies are waiting for them - what an incredible musical slap! The time passes and they get closer to their homelands...
