A Woman Called Moses stars Cicely Tyson as Harriet Tubman. In the first part of this series, we are told the story of Tubman's life as a slave. Her new owner claims to be a fair man, but treats her harshly, this provides her with the inspiration to escape for Freedom in the North. Once there she is inspired to go back to help others.
