Abnormal Fixation

Documentary filmmaker Alyssa Jarvis interviews Mark Missouri, CEO of SKEPTI-COP about a contest to debunk the paranormal. This year's contestant is Elvis Bragg, who has signed a contract for 250,000 dollars and has just one year to prove that the supernatural exists. There is bad blood, however, between Mark and Elvis, because Elvis's wife, Season Winters, left him for his nemesis, Missouri.

Alyssa interviews the skittish "The Professor" about the myth of The Woodpyre Mill Phantom, and then she meets with Bleeder, to discuss his quest to find the phantom's secret house in the woods. Meanwhile, Elvis Bragg's interns, Natalee Hansen and Ridley Zikes, follow him to Season's house. There, Mark and Season drop a bomb on Elvis about their relationship. It doesn't go well.

Season, Elvis and Bleeder watch a mysterious dark web video featuring a young woman named Chesa. She claims to have had first-hand encounters with the Phantom of Woodpyre Mill. But is she telling the truth, or is it a hoax? Meanwhile, Elvis and Season reminisce about their investigation at Loch Ness, and their discovery of a fecal plume.

Detective Styles interrogates Elvis, Season and Mark about the severed human fingers found in the "Elvis Mobile." Then, over Mark's objections, Elvis and Season travel to the Great Balsam Mountains in search of Lile Bullock's secret house, where, as "The Phantom," he would torture and kill the children of Woodpyre Mill. Before heading out into the woods, however, a series of mishaps befall Season and Elvis at the B&B.

The story of the Bullock House expedition is revealed, but Season (Alicia Martin) and Elvis (JKM) have very different ideas of what they witnessed there. Meanwhile, Alyssa (Kathyn Muir) loses funding for her documentary, and a strange surprise lands on Elvis's doorstep.

The Phantom of Woodpyre Mill has arrived at Elvis's house to perpetuate his curse. Meanwhile, Bleeder discovers a way to stop the haunting, even as Season and the others wonder if the Phantom is real...or a hoax perpetrated by someone they know.
