After testifying against her dangerous ex-husband Mason, Alex starts a new life with daughter Emily. When Mason escapes prison and kidnaps Emily, Alex uses her military skills, with help from boyfriend Stan and friend Amanda, to track him down. Emily leaves clues, and Alex rescues her. Mason is caught again, and they can finally move on.
