Beyond Evil

Lee Dong Sik (Shin Ha Kyun), a former ace detective haunted by a failed serial killer case, now works at a small police station doing menial tasks. When Han Joo Won (Yeo Jin Goo), a privileged young detective sent by his police chief father, arrives, their initial friction gives way to an uneasy partnership after a new murder case emerges with striking similarities to the unsolved killings from 20 years ago. As they investigate, both men's hidden secrets and complex motivations come to light, testing their loyalties and pushing them to uncover the truth behind these mysterious murders. This is a 2021 South Korean crime drama directed by Shim Na Yeon that received 4 Baeksang Art Award nominations.
