First, a no-show puts the crew in jeopardy. Then the Viking crew works around the clock to go from dead last to neck and neck with the Longhorn. And finally, watch as the Big Dog rig is up against "The Well from Hell."

First, a crew is about to hit the pay dirt, but a crisis hits. Then, on the Viking rig, one of the roughnecks could be down for the count. And on the Big Dog, driller Justin shows a rookie named Derek the ropes, but the good times don’t last long.

Driller Wayne can do nothing but watch as his crew is taken out by injuries. Then on the Big Dog rig, driller Justin’s job is on the line. And on the Longhorn, will no-nonsense driller Gerald push the crew too hard and pay the ultimate price?

Time begins to run out for the crews racing to strike oil. In last place, one rig tries to make progress but tensions mount. Then, another team hits pay dirt. And a new crew on one rig puts the entire team in danger.
