While reluctant nurses parade in their swimwear and raucous doctors jeer and heckle, Elizabeth (Natasha Little) persists in keeping her troubles with Mulligan (Iain Glen) from Otto (Jack Davenport), Richard (Oliver Chris) and Jean (Zoe Boyle) put on a brave face despite the hurt that brews so keenly beneath the surface, Lily (Joanna Page) pretends to be happy that she and Charlie (Shaun Dingwall) are staying in London and from the sidelines, Angela (Catherine Steadman) once again is reminded of the fact that Otto is married.
