    Slab City

Jeff King buys a new utility truck, converts it to run on veggie oil and takes it on a test mission to the desert wasteland of the Salton Sea. Joining Jeff on the road trip adventure are Adam Alfaro, Adrian Mallory, Danny Dicola, Patrick Melcher and Max Barrera. The crew arrives at a crazy place called Slab City, a makeshift town of eccentric squatters living in trailers with no electricity or water. They set up camp in a giant abandoned pool and the next few days are jam packed with building and shredding like you've never seen before. Jeff even builds the worlds first skatable tent! For the how-to segment "Hammered and Screwed," tech master Joey "two wheels" Brezinsky helps Jeff show you what it takes to build a perfect manual pad - Jeremy Wray and Justin Cefai make flip trick cameos. Larry Linkogle attempts the first ever moto wallride over a warehouse door. BMXer Jon Peacy and friends from the FIT crew step up to a huge double-set for some step-up action. The Lowcard crew (Strubing, Eckler, Toad and Magnet) turn the dining room of Jeff's house, AKA Shred Ranch, into a tight wallride and spine out the front door - Chad Knight and Jesse Hotchkiss crash the party.

    Raging Waterless

Jeff King and the Built to Shred crew get an unbelievable hook-up: the keys to an empty water park! The slides and pools of Raging Waters are drained for the winter so we fill them up with shred. Thunder Rapids is like a 70's style snake-run - high speed and high disaster. Other highlights include Neptune's Fury full-pipe, the whirlpool bowl of Dragon's Den and the mermaid pond. News of this amazing land-of-shred travels like a raging wildfire and a massive crew of legendary skaters show up to get in on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: Rune Glifberg, Jeremy Wray, Jonas Wray, Dennis Busenitz, Daewon Song, Arto Saari, AVE, Kenny Anderson, Guy Mariano, Mike Carroll, Chico Brenes, Omar Hassan, Remy Stratton, Vincent Alvarez and Rick Howard. The twists and turns of this fiberglass playground get thrashed in their natural glory and Jeff King salvages old signs and junked slides to build even more shredable terrain. A crane is called in to lift a life-sized elephant into an empty pool and Daewon Song gets crowned king-of-the-jungle with his blunt on the trunk.

    Hawaiian Style

Jeff King and the Built to Shred crew set sail for a Hawaiian dream vacation but end up scavenging for something to skate in the broken foundations and filthy junk piles unseen by typical tourists. In the blazing sun of a spot called Hotness, a giant rock sifter gets transformed into a ramp and gets shredded by the locals including Chris "Applenuts" Awong, Dyson Ramones, Kale Sandridge and John Oliveira and the APB crew. On the North Shore, Chris Senn dreams up the idea of building a billboard-style wallride across a pocket of Cholo's perfect pool. After multiple jarring attempts Senn has second thoughts about his great idea. Back at the Shred Ranch John Rattray, Pat Duffy, Chad Knight and Jesse Hotchkiss skate in one door, grind a banister and exit out another door. It's "duck and cover" as Jeff finds out the hard way that the doorway and ceilings are dangerously low. In the Hammered 'n' Screwed instructional segment, King and Ronson Lambert show you how to build a superbad flatbar without welding equipment. Running on fumes, Larry Linkogle takes the next level to the next level when he doubles the size of his previous FMX wallride. Back at Hotness the sifter becomes a 10' tall jump ramp of doom. Kale Sandridge is towed by a car, blasts off the top of the sifter and lands into a piece of wood propped up in the back of Jeff's flatbed truck. With a quick drop to the concrete, Kale takes brutal slam after brutal slam until he finally prevails.

    Surf Rail of Death

Jeff King enlists Chris Cote and crew from Transworld Surf to help him design and build the world's first surf rail. Floating rails have been tried before but never a real skateboarding style rail. The first attempt is a total disaster; pummeled by waves the rail gives in and admits defeat to momma nature. The battered surf rail gets dragged back into the B2S chop shop for repairs and reinforcements. Meanwhile, the Shred crew continues their Hawaiian skate adventure by turning Jef Hartsel's front yard into a skatepark. Kale Sandridge tops the day with a Slob air to tree pivot. Next we visit the base of Oahu's Diamondhead crater for a ramp to lava rock session with the locals and a rental truck jam where some cat named Skillet cooks up a tasty tailslide. Back home at the Shred Ranch, Jeff drains his pool only to find the 4' shallow end has 3' of vert. Ramps are built and Aaron Astorga, Chuck Wampler, Nolan Johnson and Danny Dicola shred the less than perfect pool as the goats run amok. Then it's back to the beach for round two of Shred vs. Nature as Chris Cote, Ricky Whitlock, Josh Sleigh, Daniel Shea and Eric Sorenson take their shot at making surf history on the newly reinforced surf rail. Gnarly slam after slam, broken boards and bruised bodies, the rail stayed tough...but did anyone ride away?

    Solar Shred

The shred crew takes their green cred one step further with an über eco-friendly episode. Jeff King teams up with legendary skateboard manufacturer Paul Schmitt (a.k.a. the Professor) and together they show you how to connect environmentalism to skateboarding. For one they build an eco skateboard press and construct sustainable skateboards out of bamboo and hemp! They even install solar panels on the Shred Truck, giving Jeff the ability to charge and run tools with the power of the sun! A casual meeting at Bob Burnquist's ranch turns into a spontaneous solar panel shred with salvaged wood and borrowed tools. Bob doesn't disappoint and gets gnar before the sun sets. Then the Shred crew heads to Kramer Junction, one of the world's largest solar farms and BMX bandits Aaron Ross and Jim Bauer turn up the heat in a fence-jumping junk session and water tank wallride party. More solar panels are set up at Professor Schmitt's lush estate (complete with private skate bowl) but it's a bit too perfect so Jeff junks it up with salvaged materials and some historical skate artifacts from Tracker Trucks. King also builds a roll in off his truck that leads across solar panels ending in a menacing launch into the bowl. Pat Duffy, Bob Burnquist, Nilton Nieves, Bruno Passos, Patrick Melcher and Chris Lambert light up the session. Bruno closes out the session with an insane rock'n'roll on the 13' tall plexiglass over-vert "Rad Ramp."

    Sequoia Lake Skatecamp

Jeff King and the crew head for the mountains to get weird in the woods. Mike Greenwald and Dave Bergthold have a long history of building creative skateboarding obstacles at camp so they join Jeff to create the ultimate shred trifecta. The first mission is to scout the camp's junkyards for shredable salvage. Jeremy and Jonas Wray waste no time rigging up a spontaneous junk jam with some irrigation pipes and an old trailer. Jeff drags a bed out of a cabin, hacks and welds it into a "shred bed" and then mounts it on top of a bank at Element Land. Chad Tim Tim, José Rojo and Nick Garcia take turns bouncing on the bed. The "shred bed" then gets stacked up into the world's first skateable bunk bed and the boys saw logs until sunset. For the Hammered and Screwed segment, Danny Montoya helps Jeff double the height and double the shred of the camp's infamous lake launch. Then it's time to "rock out with your dock out" - - old floating dock sections are rowed across the lake and a gap from rock to dock is created. The skaters and their boards get all wet but the mountain men all lay down some tricks. Dave and Mike build a launch over the campfire while Jeff rows in on a floating dock to surprise the kids. A crazy session erupts and camp director Mike Manidis throws down a "hot" 360 flip - - the campers are stoked. Cody Hager leads Jeff to a boat graveyard and they rig up an armada of shred by stacking a pile of old boats off a water tower. Cody grinds across a boat bridge, onto a water tower, then grinds down a boat "hubba" to sketchy downhill landing and trails through the woods to a bear box ledge! Mike Manidis summed it up perfectly, "This was the awesomest session skate camp has seen in 22 years!"
