Case Histories

Ex-policeman Jackson Brodie is working as a private eye when he meets sisters Amelia and Julia Land

Jackson decides to help a mysterious seductress find her niece, all whilst dealing with the knowledge that his ex-wife is moving to New Zealand with his beloved daughter.

Brodie is the lone witness to a possible drowning when he spots a woman's body in the water, but he is unable to prevent it from floating out to sea.

Louise, Marcus and Jackson arrive at Martin Canning's house where they discover a body battered to death, resulting in Martin pleading with Jackson to be his bodyguard.

While investigating his latest case, Jackson is badly injured and sent to the hospital after witnessing an elderly woman's car veer off the road onto the railway tracks.

When Jackson is released from jail, it triggers a connection in the Joanna Hunter case, and he learns that the husband knows more than he has been willing to admit.
