Chasing Summer

Quinn Cody has his first wipeout of the trip on an oil-slicked highway, but emerges intact. Not to be outdone, Kendall Norman manages to get painfully stuck with a prickly cactus on the narrow single-track trail to a rural fishing village.

Kendall Norman and Quinn Cody go to Scorpion Bay, Baja California, while a helicopter captures some epic riding on the beach. By day's end they make it to the peaceful oasis of Mission San Javier, last stop before a tough trek across the peninsula.

In Baja California, Quinn Cody and Kendall Norman celebrate Mexican Independence Day before crossing over from the Sea of Cortez, through rough mountainous dirt roads and beautiful water, into Mission San Luis Gonzaga.

Kendall Norman and Quinn Cody siphon off some petrol to make it to their home away from home: La Paz, Bolivia. There they relax, hit the beach, and replace the much-needed tread on their tyres before heading off to the Gulf Coast party capital.
