As the reigning champion, Jonathan Paredes is in the spotlight as the 2018 Red Bull Cliff Diving season kicks off. The first stop in Texas, USA, doesn't go as hoped so Jonathan refocuses before heading into the second stop in Bilbao, Spain.

Having reached the pinnacle of his sport in 2017 when he won the world championship, cliff diver Jonathan Paredes still has obstacles to overcome. In Spain, he works on a new dive battles with his fears.

It's halfway through the Red Bull Cliff Diving 2018 season and, to help him draw inspiration for the remaining competitions as he looks to defend his world title, Jonathan Paredes turns to high-diving legend and good friend Orlando Duque.
