Docile and obedient Devika gets engaged to domineering Jaggi. Her world changes when a mysterious stranger, Danny, enters her life. Meanwhile, Durga and his gang look for Danny.

Devika and Danny grow close to each other, and she opens up to him. Feeling guilty, Danny reveals an impossible truth about himself.

Upset with Danny, Devika refuses to help him. Sensing something strange in the house, Devika's grandfather conducts a ritual to drive away spirits.

Danny recalls his past and how he was saved by Durga, a gang leader. Following Durga's orders, Danny tries to forcefully empty a building, only to learn it's an orphanage.

To help Danny, Devika concocts an excuse and secretly leaves for Hyderabad with Danny, Pinky and Subbu. While Jaggi confronts her family, a priest warns of danger ahead for Devika.

Devika and Danny go to Durga's house to get Gayathri Amma's documents. Devika finally confronts Jaggi and her spiritual journey begins.
