Dogs of War

Duane was one of the first veterans Jim and Lindsey helped. But his service dog can no longer help him and he has been thrown back into a downward spiral of depression and PTSD. Can Jim and Lindsey pull him out of it by getting him to finally accept what he really needs--a new battle buddy? Meanwhile, Rebel, another veteran already in the program, hits a roadblock as his family struggles to get used to living with a service dog.

Stephanie is a young wife, mom and veteran, haunted by memories of her year as a prison guard in Iraq. She puts on a happy face to her husband and two kids, but PTSD brings her face-to-face with dark moments where she "just wants to be gone." She turns to Jim, Lindsey and a service dog named Atticus for help. Then Jim makes it his mission to find Thatcher, a fun loving service dog, a home and veteran in need of assistance.

Ron disarmed explosives in Iraq, and once home he hid symptoms of his PTSD well. Now he's in the Paws & Stripes program and having trouble hiding his real problems with alcohol. Can Jim and Lindsey help him and his dog Sabo stay together?
