Dragnet (1967)

Sgt. Friday (Jack Webb) works undercover out of Administrative Vice in a drive to break up a gambling ring, in "The Bookie". Dressed as a surveyor’s helper, Sgt. Friday and Sgt. Bill Riddle (William Reynolds) hang out at a bar because they suspect bartender Richard Clinger (Bobby Troup) of taking bets on horse races. Luana Patten portrays Angie, the waitress, and director Sidney Miller, portrays the same character he did on a "Dragnet" show 10 years ago, that of Jay Simmons, an intoxicated visitor from Pismo Beach.

A phony magazine salesman using an authentic Congressional Medal of Honor for credentials is the target of Sgt. Friday (Jacks Webb) and Officer Gannon (Harry Morgan), in "The Subscription Racket". When Sgt. Friday makes a public service appearance on a local television station, the firm's film librarian, Tate (Doodles Weaver), reports that his wife, Marilyn (Sarah Selby), has been swindled our of a large sum of money by a magazine canvasser. The investigation shows how police deal with this type of confidence game. Brian Avery is featured as suspect, Glenn Procustan, and Marianne Gordon portrays his girl friend.

Reiko, a beautiful Japanese-born widow whose Nisei husband was killed in Vietnam is murdered and Sgt. Friday (Jack Webb) and Officer Gannon (Harry Morgan) are assigned to find her slayer, in "The Gun", this week’s episode of "Dragnet". The only clue left by the murderer is a slug, which lodged in the floor of Reiko's home after it passed through her head. But a detailed search of the neighborhood uncovers further leads with considerable help from Lurlene (Annazette), a victim of an assault a week earlier. Sharann Hisamoto portrays Miko, Reiko's 5-year-old daughter, Kathleen Freeman is Mrs. Pound and Anne Loos portrays Mrs. Edney. Raymond Mayo is featured as Ben Yoder, the painter.

Sgt. Friday (Jack Webb) and Officer Gannon (Harry Morgan) crack down on a gang of juvenile shoplifters, in "The Big Kids". When teen-ager Bobby Lassin (Mickey Sholdar) is caught stealing a strange assortment of goods, including diapers, paper clips and hair dryer, Sgt. Friday delves into the reasons why a boy would take such items. The investigation leads to a mod-clad club, which has a unique set of entrance requirements. The cast includes Roger Mobley as Audie, club leader, Peggy Webber, as Mrs. Lassin, Bobby's mother, Art Balinger as Police Capt. Richey and Richard Crane as Police Sgt. Pearson.

The investigation into a woman's untimely death leads investigators to a drunk and her former boyfriend.

Sergeant Friday and Officer Gannon are called to a theater to investigate an acid-throwing incident. Traced to his home, a teenage suspect runs away — carrying a live grenade.
