Dragnet (1967)

Sergeant Friday is in real trouble when he shoots and kills, in self defense, a man he catches jimmying a coin changer who opens fire on him. But he can’t seem to find the robber’s spent bullet.

A Midwestern businessman is swindled by shakedown artists who pose as vice officers. Sergeant Friday and Officer Gannon go undercover at the same hotel, with Gannon playing the role of a manufacturer from Nebraska.

A bank robber forces female passersby to help scoop money into a pillowcase while holding the bank’s employees at gunpoint. Sergeant Friday and Officer Gannon receive unexpected assistance from an involuntary “helper".

When a l3-year veteran on the force suddenly turns to alcohol, Sergeant Friday and Officer Gannon have to give up their own off-duty time to track him down before he loses his job.
