After spending 23 years in a coma due to an attempted murder, investigator Alejandro Falco awakens determined to recover his family and career in a Mexico City he can’t recognize. Despite the modernization, institutions are still vulnerable to the relentless growth of organized crime. Upon learning that his wife has remarried, Falco decides to join the recently formed Police Investigation Unit, and soon finds out that he is one of the few honest police officers around.
