Perhaps nobody embodies the modern lifestyle there better than the town's own Oscar Wright, a renowned surfer, artist and musician, who's using the city as a personal blank canvas. In this episode of FiNS, we take a look at Sydney's urban surf culture through the eyes of Oscar Wright, following him through the machinations of his daily life in and around the city.

One of surfing's most historic towns, Santa Cruz, California is a place with a legacy of rugged, counterculture surfers finding a home among world-class waves. Today, Santa Cruz is divided between East and West siders, longboarders and shortboarders, giving everybody with a surfboard under their arm a distinct identity. In this episode of FiNS, we travel through Santa Cruz, tapping into some of the local fixtures for an insider look at a distinct California surf town. We talk to surfers Jason "Ratboy" Collins and Peter Garaway, as well as local photographer Patrick Trefz and legendary local shaper Bill "Stretch" Reidel.
