A mysterious plague called the Purple Death ravages the earth.

Using Ming's own weapon against Ming himself, Flash succeeds in aiming the deadly Solarite ship toward the enemy tower bringing about the fiery doom of the evil emperor.

While on the fateful mission to bring back the antidote to the Purple Death, Polarite, Flash and his party are attacked by the "walking bombs", an army of mechanical men.

Ming sends Torch and a mechanical army to stop Flash when he hears that Flash has discovered an antidote for the death dust.

Flash and Roka capture a Ming ship, infiltrate Ming's palace in disguise and attempt to rescue Zarkov from the death ray in the arena.

With the aid of Dr. Zharkov's new thermal control construction, Flash attempts to disengage one of Ming's fiery projectiles which threatens to destroy Prince Barin's kingdom.
