Shanghai: Three young Americans find themselves caught in the mysterious web of a man known only as "Smith." Smith's world, "Flatland," is terrifying. A place where the past and the present exist at the same time and intersect with deadly consequences.

Coventry is gone, but Khan is back, but this time in the more youthful form of Noel Jagger. Noel is a slick, seductive playboy reclaims his stake atop the criminal underworld of Shanghai.

Higher Form of Killing

Jagger gets his hands on a deadly nerve agent developed during WWII, and soon after an entire village of people is decimated. JT and Mitchell set out to find who is responsible, while Smith's rage reaches a boil. The horrors of his past encounters with Kahn are revealed, as they come full circle into the present with a new, unexpected target: Linda Meyers.

Shadow Warriors

Briefcase-size nuclear bombs are on the black market in Shanghai. Mitchell goes undercover as a potential buyer, embroiling himself in a triangle of deceit and desire that could easily turn deadly, and JT's got history with one of the dealers, a reincarnated minion of Khan's who's hunted him, and killed him, throughout time.

A vicious car accident puts a young boy in a coma and leads Mitchell into a divine encounter with the ancient goddess of mercy, Xian Gu. Smith dispatches JT, Linda and Amy to investigate a strain of deadly knock-off drugs, secretly commissioned by Jagger, with JT also on the path of a brutal murder weapon he himself may have created, in the past.

Smith closes in on his eternal nemesis Khan, living in post-millennial Shanghai in the guise of arch-criminal Richard Coventry. Caught in the middle is Amy Li, the unknowing pawn in an age-old battle between the ultimate good and the ultimate evil. Meanwhile, JT and Mitchell are on the run, hunted by a relentless killer who won't give up their trail, even after JT kills him.
