Krushna, an abandoned girl, is raised by farmer Bhairu after saving his daughter, Pooja. After Bhairu's tragic death, Krushna works tirelessly to support the family.

As Dushyant returns to the village, he and Krushna engage in banter. Later, Krushna remembers Savitri's accusations against her regarding Bhairu's death.

Jaykant tricks Krushna into jumping into the pond and harasses her for the unpaid installment. Later, Dushyant asserts his right to live life on his own terms.
