House with the Lilies
Mikhail, a communist soldier honored for his bravery on the front, moves to the suburbs with his family. He doesn't believe in provincial superstitions, yet he says the legend goes that the house he lives in is cursed; its owners, their children, and grandchildren will never find happiness in love.
