In each short, the tree-like humanoid character goes on an adventure, which usually involves him getting tangled up with other quirky characters. From attempting his first steps to dancing with a shapeshifting alien, viewers see a determined Groot who refuses to give up on his goal. The antics continue until his pursuit lands him in some type of trouble, like unintentionally destroying an alien community or causing an explosion.
