Three brave duos who bought dilapidated houses begin their individual demolitions in hopes of uncovering their own diamond in the rough; just as the walls start to come down, the drama goes up as tempers run high and the teams' budgets get strained.

The three sets of homeowners get their renovations underway; serious and near-fatal events threaten to derail the projects; the teams must work around a crashing chimney, skyrocketing budgets and severe weather to finish their dream homes.

As the homeowners continue working on their renovations, major stress over money and time brings things to a boiling point; progress is further stalled when permits don't come through and a break-in leaves one couple questioning everything.
