In Chile in the late '90s, the disappearance of 12 young girls shakes their community. Dispatched from the city to investigate, police captain César Rojas uncovers an unimaginable horror in this drama inspired by shocking true events.

Captain Rojas heads to northern Chile to investigate the disappearance of a group of teenage girls in Alto Hospicio. When a local fisherman's daughter also goes missing, Rojas becomes convinced that the girls were kidnapped-or killed.

Tacna
The head of the Alto Hospicio police orders Rojas and Carrasco to travel to Tacna, a wild border city in Peru. There, Rojas infiltrates human-trafficking gangs to look for the missing girls.

The First Victim
After reviewing all the prior murders of women in the area, Rojas pursues a lead that he believes may have been the killer's first victim two years ago. Meanwhile, Carrasco looks into a volleyball teacher who taught several of the missing girls.

Following the trail of disappearances leads Rojas to 'La Ponderosa' a place in the middle of the desert where private parties are held with prostitutes, many of whom are minors. During his surveillance of La Ponderosa he rescues Ayleen, a young homeless woman.

The Letters
As the case of the Alto Hospicio killer attracts national press coverage, Rojas's investigation into institutional corruption in the city puts him in the crosshairs of powerful men. Meanwhile, Ayleen moves in with Rojas and his son, Diego.

The Dogs
Rojas is attacked in an attempt to silence him, but he remains undeterred. When his prime suspect is proven innocent, however, his main theory about the case crumbles, even as Andrea investigates his past.
